During my time at Earth I produced a whole series of animations for this programme about disasters, each animation was individually built in 3D and composited to match a voice over. Each descriptive piece needed to show the specific elements which had not been caught on camera and in most cases would have to be built to match the elements that caused the disaster, this ranged from specific close up connectors to a complicated lifting bridge and specially converted ship. The original footage recorded at the scene was incorporated into the background.
